The Sacrament of Confirmation takes place during the junior year of high school in the Archdiocese of New Orleans. The next Confirmation at St. Dominic will take place on Wednesday, April 29, 2026 and registration is taking place now for all rising Juniors. Those registering are able to begin certain preparations during the summer such as service hours and then complete registration in September of the junior year. The program follows the requirements of the archdiocese and includes instructional classes, service hours, and a retreat. CYO membership is not required for Confirmation, but definitely enhances the experience of preparing for the sacrament within a strong peer faith community.
